Last week, I successfully negotiated a truce between the Stormcloaks and the Imperials. This eventually led to the capture of Odahviing at Dragonsreach.

At some point after this – I can’t remember where – I captured this really cool shot of a dragon flying overhead.

It took a few attempts but I finally managed to defeat the dragon at the entrance to Skuldafn.

Another one bites the dust

The expressions on the NPC’s in Skyrim are one of the elements that make it so immersive. They don’t just attack you woodenly.

The lights in the sky are a different colour in Sovngarde.

And finally, last night, after approximately 65 real world hours of playing Skyrim, I defeated Alduin and the main quest line is over. Janita helped me loads during the big fights and I must say that in the end it wasn’t nearly as difficult to defeat Alduin as I imagined it would be.

The end of Alduin

A parting shot of the Hall of Valor shows the attention to detail that makes Skyrim such an awesome game.
