There was a moment on the last day where the air was rising everywhere and the only way of descending was to pull the ears. Unfortunately I was already on the ground a could only watch with envy as those pilots in the air cruised effortlessly around – climbing at 2-3 m/s.
Most pilots returned to earth and waited for the storm to pass, after which we managed to use the very last of the wind to take off and enjoy a peaceful glide straight down to the landing site.
A good week of flying came to an end all too soon and I look forward to going back there. This is a really good place to fly.
