On Tuesday 7 May we took a drive to Bach im Lechtal in order to visit the paragliding school, AirSport, and get the brake lines on my glider repaired. Fortunately the repair was minor and could be done while we waited, so we went and found breakfast at the only place that was open and then went for a walk to take photographs. It’s very quite at this time of year because most places are closed for maintenance or a “rest” after the ski season. This can make it difficult to do some things – such as find a good place to eat.

By the time we got back to Tannheim the flying weather for the day was long past.

We went up anyway and sat at the Gundhütte eating soup for lunch.
